Der Stand der Dinge
Nach langer Zeit ein Blog-Lebenszeichen – die Pause war in der Länge so nicht beabsichtigt. Tatsächlich war ich in der Zwischenzeit alles andere als inaktiv, was Shootings angeht, eigentlich war ich sogar so produktiv wie nie, speziell 2025. Und wer die Homepage trotzdem gelegentlich besucht hat, wird regelmäßige kleine Updates bemerkt haben, in der einleitenden Slideshow sowie in den Galerien. Aber ja: Der Blog blieb lange stumm. Und Instagram in den letzten Monaten auch. Warum?
Shootings und deren Planung und Nachbereitung kosten enorm Zeit. Und meine Projekte sind komplexer geworden, inklusive Shootingreisen. Nebenbei habe ich einen Job als Softwareentwickler. Die Familie benötigte Aufmerksamkeit in letzter Zeit. So war der schnelle Release auf Instagram oft verführerischer als eine Story auf der Homepage zu schreiben.
Es gibt auch einen anderen Aspekt: Ich denke seit einiger Zeit über alternative Distributionswege meiner Arbeiten nach. Das betrifft weniger die Homepage, sondern die diversen Social Media und Model Plattformen. Sie sind wichtig für neue Modelkontakte aber hinterlassen mit der Kurzatmigkeit der User, Design- und Content- Einschränkungen und zunehmender AI-Lastigkeit und zahlosen Botprofilen ein ‚Perlen vor die Säue‘ Gefühl wenn ich ein Bild poste, an dem mir viel liegt und in das viel Arbeit geflossen ist. Mehr demnächst dazu (nur soviel: nein, kein Patreon oder ähnliches), aber auch hier ist viel Recherche reingeflossen und ich bin bei den Bildern und Shootingprojekten aktuell mehr in einer Sammelphase und veröffentliche wenig.
State of Play
Lifesigns on the blog page after a long time – the break wasn’t intended to be this long. In fact, I was anything but inactive in terms of photoshoots. After all, I was more productive than ever, especially in 2025. And anyone who visited the website occasionally will have noticed regular small updates in the introductory slideshow and the galleries. But yes: the blog remained silent for a long time. And Instagram too, at least for the last few months. Why?
Photoshoots, including planning and photofinish, are incredibly time-consuming. My projects have also become more complex, often involving shooting trips. On top of that, I work as a software developer. My family has been demanding my attention lately, so a quick Instagram post has often been more tempting than writing a story on my website.
There’s another aspect to consider: I’ve been thinking about alternative publication channels for my work for some time now. This isn’t so much about my website, but rather the various social media and modeling platforms. They’re important for making new model contacts, but with the short-sightedness of users, design and content limitations, increasing reliance on AI, and countless bot profiles, it feels like casting pearls before swine when I post a picture that’s important to me and into which I’ve poured a lot of work. More on that soon (just so you know: no, it’s not Patreon or anything like that). But here too, a lot of research has gone into this, and I’m currently more in a collection phase with the images and photoshoots and am publishing very little.
Die Zukunft
Vieles davon ist aber bereits auf guten Weg und 2026 wird es auch speziell auf der Homepage wieder mehr Updates geben. So wird es in diesen Tagen bereits Nachschub geben, am 06. Januar geht der erste Beitrag eines ziemlich turbulenten Shootings mit Jessie im Mai 2025 online. Danach am Anfang jedes Monats ein weiteres, insegsamt 5 neue Episoden sind bereits fertig, mit ganz unterschiedlichen Shooting-Topics.
Daneben gibt es bald hier, auf Instagram und Modelplatformen Infos über meine 2026 Shootingplanungen, denn ich möchte diesmal auch früh Klarheit über Zeit und Modelresourcen haben. Looking forward
Much of this is on a good track, though, and in 2026 there will be more updates, especially on the website. New content will be available in the coming days; on January 6th, the first post of a rather turbulent photoshoot with Jessie in May 2025 will go online. After that, another episode will be released at the beginning of each month; a total of five new episodes are already ready-to-publish and scheduled, covering a wide variety of photoshoot topics.
In addition, I’ll soon be posting information about my 2026 shoot plans here, on Instagram, and on modeling platforms, as I want to have clarity about time and model resources early this year. If you’re interested in a project or a collab in general, please contact me as soon as possible, because, as is often the case, it’s first come, first served.
