Meine erste Zusammenarbeit mit Jessie stand zunächst unter keinem guten Stern. Gebucht hatte ich sie wegen ihres sanften Ausdrucks und es waren Aufnahmen im aufblühenden bayrischen Frühling geplant. Doch wie so oft: War die Tage zuvor bestes Wetter, am Shootingtag gabs Dauerregen und Temperatursturz ins Bodenlose.
Aber da mein letztes Loftshooting auch länger her war buchte ich unverdrossen kurzfristig eine Indoorlokation und wir vereinbarten andere Outfits. Alles bestens. Bis mich abends vor dem Shooting eine Panikmail erreichte: Das Model war eingetroffen am Flughafen, ihre Koffer mit allen Outfits und Accessoirs nicht.
Ok. Durchatmen. Im Schrank und meinem Modelnotfallkoffer nach ein paar passenden Hemdchen geschaut und los. Wir hatten zwar nicht viel Auswahl und das Shooting wurde aktlastiger als geplant, aber spontan zusammen kreativ zu werden und aus einer unbekannten Lokation alles aus Motiven auszuquetschen ist definitiv ein

My first collaboration with Jessie didn’t exactly get off to a good start. I’d booked her because of her gentle expression, and we’d planned an outdoor shoot in the blossoming Bavarian nature. But as so often happens: the weather had been perfect in the days leading up to it, but on the day of the shoot, it rained cats and dogs and the temperature plummeted.
However, since it had been a while since my last loft shooting, I booked an indoor location at short notice, and we agreed on slightly different outfits. Everything was going fine again … until the evening before the shoot. I received an email: the model had arrived at the airport, but all the luggage with her outfits and accessories hadn’t. Lost in transit.
Okay. Deep breath. I dug through my wardrobe and my emergency model set for a few suitable shirts and tops, and here we go. We didn’t have many alternatives, planning was gone, and the shoot became more nude than planned, But: Getting creative together and squeezing every last drop of potential out of an unfamiliar location can be an interesting experience. And it worked for me, actually.
